Your student takes our supervised mock, which sets their level. Then they sit their real exam. If their real score comes in below their mock, their retake is half price. For IELTS that's a full band (1.0) below; for PTE it's more than 5 points below; for Duolingo it's 20 or more points below.

It's a full-length, supervised mock that closely predicts the real exam score. It matters because it's the score the guarantee is measured against, we're confident enough in it to back it with a half-price retake. It opens 8 days before your student's exam and they can sit it on any day in that window, right up to the day before. Enrol them whenever you like, months ahead or the day before their exam, and the mock opens on its own at the right moment.

Yes. We're an official IELTS partner via IDP, an official Pearson PTE Partner, and an official Duolingo English Test partner, so every exam is booked on the real portal. Your student pays only after their slot is confirmed, or they can book elsewhere and still add the guarantee.

One simple all-in fee, shown on the exam's page, covering their official booking, one supervised mock, and the Retake Guarantee. Their exam fee is paid separately to the exam body.

Every student is told clearly, on a call and in writing before paying, exactly how the threshold works. That conversation, and any dispute, is ours to handle, never yours.

No. The guarantee is measured on the overall score or band only. If a student's Writing falls a long way but their overall holds, it does not apply, because the overall is what our mock predicted and what the guarantee is set against. Individual section scores are not part of it, and this is stated to every student in writing before they pay.

For bookings made through us, we verify the score and contact the student ourselves if they qualify. For guarantee on your own bookings, the student requests their retake at frexam.com/request-retake with their official scorecard. Verified within 48 hours, then we book the retake. Nothing comes to your desk.
