The short version: you pay ₹1,999 for IELTS, ₹1,999 for PTE, or ₹750 for the Duolingo English Test for Frexam Promise (a small platform fee is added at checkout to cover payment processing), which includes one supervised mock test, official exam booking, and Retake Guarantee. When we book your exam, the exam fee is paid separately, once your slot is confirmed with you on a call. Your mock score is what we measure against. If your real overall score falls below your mock by more than the stated tolerance, you can rebook one retake through Frexam at half the exam fee. Full conditions below, and we send you this document before you pay.

1. Who we are and what we provide

Frexam Eduservices Private Limited (GST 29AAGCF7369C1ZD) is a contracted Pearson PTE Partner, an official IELTS partner via IDP, and an official Duolingo English Test partner. When you purchase Frexam Promise ("the Service") for ₹1,999 (IELTS), ₹1,999 (PTE), or ₹750 (Duolingo English Test), plus a small platform fee added at checkout to cover payment processing, we provide:

  • Official exam booking for the date and centre confirmed with you on a call. For PTE, booked on the official Pearson PTE Partner Portal; for IELTS, booked through official IDP channels; for the Duolingo English Test, which is taken online on demand, your test credit is purchased directly from Duolingo. The exam fee itself is paid separately (for IELTS, directly to IDP; for PTE, at the official rate; for the Duolingo English Test, directly to Duolingo);
  • One supervised mock test, administered on our online testing platform, included at no extra charge;
  • The Retake Guarantee, our warranty on the accuracy of our own mock tests, as described in Section 3, included at no separately stated charge;
  • A designated point of contact for your booking, reachable on WhatsApp and email.

Frexam Promise is paid at checkout on frexam.com, and completing that payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Your exam slot is then confirmed with you live on a call, and the exam fee is paid only once your slot is confirmed.

2. The mock test and your guarantee

  • The mock test must be taken after purchase, through the link and process we provide, under supervised conditions.
  • The mock is supervised and recorded. To keep the guarantee fair for everyone, you will be asked to keep your camera on, share your screen, and verify your identity at the start, and the session is recorded. Taking the mock means you agree to this. We use the recording only to confirm the mock was taken under proper conditions, and we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Identity check. Before the mock begins we confirm you are the person taking it, using a live photo matched against a government ID. This is the same identity that must sit your official exam.
  • A valid mock is required, and we may ask you to retake it. The guarantee is based on a mock completed genuinely, under proper conditions. If a mock is not completed under those conditions, for example the session was not properly supervised, the recording is missing, your identity could not be confirmed, or the result does not reflect a genuine attempt, we may ask you to take a fresh mock before the guarantee applies. We will always tell you before your official exam if a re-take is needed, so nothing is decided after the fact. This is not a penalty; it simply makes sure the score your guarantee rests on is a real one.
  • The mocks must be completed within the 8 days before your scheduled exam date. If it is not, your booking remains fully valid but Retake Guarantee does not apply (see Section 6 for the partial refund).
  • Your overall mock score is what we measure against. The guarantee is assessed on your overall score or band only; individual section or sub-scores do not count towards the guarantee, even if a section falls by more than the stated tolerance. Frexam may apply a published calibration adjustment to keep mock and official scoring aligned; any such adjustment will be stated to you before your mock.
  • An abandoned or incomplete mock does not count.

3. The Retake Guarantee: what qualifies

  • Nature of the guarantee. The Retake Guarantee is Frexam's warranty of the predictive accuracy of its own diagnostic mock tests. If your official score falls below your mock by more than the stated tolerance, our diagnostic has missed its standard, and we make good with a price concession on one retake booked through Frexam. This is a service guarantee under consumer law. It is not an insurance policy, Frexam is not an insurer, and no part of your fee is a premium.
  • A qualifying mock is required. Retake Guarantee applies only if your mock score is 50 or above for PTE, band 5.0 or above for IELTS, or 105 or above for the Duolingo English Test. If your mock falls below this, we retain ₹1,000 (₹500 for the Duolingo English Test) and refund the remainder of your Service fee; you still receive your mock test and your exam booking, but Retake Guarantee does not apply.
  • For PTE: you qualify for a retake if your official PTE Academic overall score is more than 5 points below your mock. Example: baseline 61, official score 55 or below qualifies; 56 or above does not. For IELTS: you qualify if your official overall band is a full band (1.0) or more below your mock band. Example: mock band 7.0, official band 6.0 or below qualifies; 6.5 does not. For the Duolingo English Test: you qualify if your official overall score is 20 or more points below your mock, on the 10-160 scale. Example: mock 120, official 100 or below qualifies; 105 does not.
  • Scores are verified by Frexam directly on the official portal (the Pearson Partner Portal for PTE; official IDP channels for IELTS; your official Duolingo English Test score for DET) or against your official scorecard. Screenshots or self-reported scores are not used.
  • A qualifying result entitles you to one retake booking made through Frexam at half the standard exam fee: ₹9,500 for IELTS (standard fee approximately ₹19,000), ₹9,450 for PTE (approximately ₹18,900), or ₹3,333 for the Duolingo English Test (approximately ₹6,667). The retake must be requested within 30 days of your result being released, and the retake exam booked through Frexam within 2 months of your original exam.
  • The Retake Guarantee applies to one exam attempt only: the attempt booked with this purchase. A guarantee for a retake can be purchased separately.
  • The guarantee benefit is personal to the named candidate, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed as money.

4. When the guarantee does not apply

  • Score drops of 5 points or fewer below your mock, which are within normal score variation;
  • Exams missed for any reason, including no-shows, late arrival, or being refused entry for incorrect or missing ID (the test provider does not refund these, and neither can we);
  • Results cancelled, withheld, or invalidated by the test provider, including for suspected malpractice; any finding of malpractice voids Retake Guarantee entirely;
  • Mock tests taken outside our process, taken late (Section 2), or not taken at all;
  • Exams rescheduled to a date more than 60 days after your mock, unless a fresh mock is taken (Section 5).

5. Rescheduling and changes

  • Reschedule and cancellation of the exam itself are governed by the test provider's policies and deadlines (Pearson for PTE, IDP for IELTS, Duolingo for the Duolingo English Test; note the Duolingo English Test is non-refundable and non-reschedulable once purchased), which we will action on your behalf where the provider permits. The provider's fees for changes, where applicable, are payable by you.
  • Your mock score remains valid for 60 days from your mock date. If your exam moves beyond that window, a fresh mock (provided by us at no charge) is required to keep the guarantee active.

6. Refunds

  • Before your exam is registered with the test provider: full refund minus payment processing costs.
  • After your exam is registered with the test provider: the exam fee component is non-refundable, consistent with the provider's no-refund policy. ₹1,000 of your Service fee is refundable on request until you take your mock.
  • If Retake Guarantee lapses because the mock was not taken in time (Section 2), ₹1,000 of your Service fee will be refunded.
  • The ₹50 platform fee is non-refundable in all cases.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal details matching your ID; the test provider's ID rules apply on test day (described in the official PTE Test Taker Handbook for PTE, and IDP's IELTS terms for IELTS);
  • Take the mock honestly and under the supervised conditions provided;
  • By purchasing, you consent to Frexam creating and administering your test account and bookings on your behalf. For PTE, you accept Pearson's End User Licence Agreement, Test Taker Handbook, and Privacy Policy, available at pearsonpte.com; for IELTS, you accept IDP's booking terms and privacy policy, available at ieltsidpindia.com; for the Duolingo English Test, you accept Duolingo's Terms and Privacy Policy, available at englishtest.duolingo.com.

8. Liability

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not responsible for the test provider's conduct of the exam, scoring decisions, centre availability, or result timelines, nor for consequential losses such as visa or admission outcomes.

9. Transfers, disputes, and governing law

You may request transfer of your test account administration to yourself or another authorised partner at any time by writing to us. These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will first be addressed via hello@frexam.com; failing resolution, they are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
